Fuente Ovejuna

Gainesville Theatre Alliance

For this project, I had a budget of $900 with a cast of twenty actors. Most of the pieces were either pulled, altered, or bought. The only pieces that were built was Queen Isabella and the two tunics for Captain Flores and Sergeant Ortuno. The idea was to keep the main characters in contrasting colors from the background while keeping the background characters in more neutral tones. The King and Queen were put in reds and gold to symbolize royalty and in the wedding scene, the main characters are trying to emulate these colors for their wedding but are unable to completely do so due to their social economic standing.
